Windchill Customer Profiles

BMW Rolls-Royce AeroEngines has selected Windchill as the technology of choice for their integrated product development (IPD) environment because it uniquely meets their demanding product information needs.

Litton's Ingalls Shipbuilding has found that Windchill provides the product information and process management foundation that uniquely meets their needs. Ingalls Shipbuilding has an Integrated Data Environment (IDE) vision and its mission is to provide a fully standards-based, web-centric solution. Ingalls will use Windchill to support its initiative to build the U.S. Navy's 21st Century Destroyer (DD21).

Lockheed Martin Government Electronic Systems is utilizing Windchill at the heart of its next-generation Integrated Data Environment (IDE), a web-based document and process data management system. The system will help Lockheed Martin Government Electronic Systems better manage the design and production of its radar, vertical launching and combat systems for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and international customers.

SKF is using Windchill as the enabling technology for its goal of reducing lead times and managing information more effectively. The goals are tied to the company's Customer Specific Development Process initiative, which is a common process for attaining higher responsiveness to specific customer requirements.

PTC is using Windchill for several electronic document management initiatives for streamlining worldwide operations and reducing time to market. Steven C.
